THE LEGO MOVIE BRINGS HOLIDAY CHEER TO OUR YOUNG STORYTELLERS!

Alumni from Selma Elementary School were given an incredible opportunity to meet the brilliant minds behind THE LEGO MOVIE! Producer Dan Lin welcomed our students and introduced special guest Chris McKay, the film’s Director. He gave a presentation about the film’s visual evolution over the three year creative process. After his presentation, surprise guest Will Arnett met the students and spoke with them about his role as a voice actor in the movie. Finally, after a catered lunch, the students were led by Adam Ward, a Lego Artist, through the creation of a group mural inspired by the theme of creativity. Working in small groups with employees from Bricksburg, our students built parts of the mural that will be installed at Selma Elementary School.

Very special thanks to Dan Lin, Chris McKay, Will Arnett, Katherine Concepcion, Adam Ward, and the entire Bricksburg family for providing this incredible experience for our students!
