LIN PICTURES PROMOTES SILK, WEHRENFENNIG
Posted: Tue., Jan. 17, 2012, 6:43pm PT By DAVE MCNARYWarner Bros.-based Lin Pictures has promoted Jon Silk to senior VP of production and Seanne Winslow Wehrenfennig to director of development.
Both are responsible for finding and acquiring material and developing the shingle’s feature slate and will continue to report directly to Dan Lin, the head of Lin Pictures.
Silk has been VP of production and served as co-producer on “Gangster Squad” along with “Godzilla,” the animated film “Bone” and “The Rabbit,” an action-comedy starring Chris Tucker.
Wehrenfennig previously held the position of creative exec and serves as co-producer of the upcoming 3D animated film “Lego: The Piece of Resistance.” She’s also co-producing “Gods and Kings.” Prior to joining Lin Pictures, Silk worked at BenderSpink, Gold Circle Films and Universal Pictures. Wehrenfennig has worked at Bruckheimer Films and CAA.
