Jonathan Eirich
Co-CEO
Jonathan is Co-CEO of Rideback, where he oversees all aspects of the company’s film and television development and production. Since joining the company in 2015, he has overseen production for live-action films such as Disney’s billion-dollar grossing hit ALADDIN directed by Guy Ritchie, along with two other tentpole titles for Disney, HAUNTED MANSION released in 2023 and the upcoming live-action adaptation of LILO & STITCH, directed by Academy-Award nominee Dean Fleischer-Camp. During Jonathan’s time at the company, Rideback has had a prolific run on the feature side, making Netflix’s DEATH NOTE directed by Adam Wingard, the monster hit horror films IT and IT: CHAPTER 2, as well as the comedy EASTER SUNDAY for Amblin and Universal. Jonathan was also nominated for a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for producing the critically acclaimed film THE TWO POPES, directed by Fernando Meirelles, which went on to garner three Oscar nominations. Before joining Rideback in 2015, he spent nine years in development and production at DreamWorks/Amblin, most recently as a Senior Vice-President where he oversaw the Steven Spielberg-directed BRIDGE OF SPIES (2015), nominated for six Oscars. Some of his other previous films at the studio included NEED FOR SPEED which grossed over $200M, as well as I AM NUMBER FOUR and TRANSFORMERS 2 which went on to amass over $800M ww. Jonathan also oversaw the 2011 hit film THE HELP which received four Oscar nominations including Best Picture. Prior to becoming a senior executive at the studio, Jonathan was the creative assistant to chairman Stacey Snider in 2006, after spending a year at CAA. His first jobs in the industry included an internship at Gold Circle Films during the production of MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING and a Production Assistant job on the initial episodes of the hit show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” Jonathan attended Harvard University where he majored in History and Literature and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
